Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Christina Kunanets is one of the more talented artists that we’ve seen and she’s from Lviv, Ukraine.

She paints vintage plates that are going to make you hungry just to look at them. Thanks to the three-dimensional foods that she uses, these plates look absolutely delicious! You would be forgiven for wanting to tuck into one right now.

Art Insider took a closer look at her works that you will need to see for yourself. The vintage-inspired plates are painted onto round canvases before she takes the time to sketch out the remainder of the designs with thicker oil paints.

If you are anything like us, you are having a lot of fun checking out her creative process. It’s a blast to watch.

“Some of her creations include a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, avocado toast, and a Nutella croissant. She paints the plate and food onto a round canvas, then uses a mixture of thick paints to create the textured spreads and icings on the food,” Art Insider shares on YouTube. According to Christina, she provides this art to the people as a means of invoking good memories for everyone.

Anyone who would like to take a closer look at what she has to offer is more than welcome to visit her art shop on Etsy, which is called UwannaArt.

We love the amount of time and effort that is put into these pieces. She’s not here to merely splash some paint on a canvas and call it a day.
