Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

This U.K. TikTok user made an unprecedented mistake and we cannot stop laughing about it. He decided to grab some potato chips to munch on, like any of us would during our lunch hour.

However, this man managed to accidentally swallow a chip possibly worth $120,000 and now the internet is trying their best to rally to his defense. His followers are putting serious pressure on British snack food manufacturer Walkers.

They want them to cough up the cash and we totally understand where they are coming from here. Cory is based in Wales and regularly posts clips where he eats all sorts of awesome meals.

On this day, he was having a sandwich and chips when the accidental consumption occurred. He seemed to actually catch the moment when the super pricey chip went down his gullet, too.

Walkers is currently having a contest to see who is able to find the most perfect heart-shaped chip in one of their bags. Those who win the contest are able to take home $120,000. The rules are simple: Those who find the chip will have to take a photo of it and then send it in. They must also take a photo of the bag that it came in.

His followers were quick to point out the mistake that Cory made and let him know that he had eaten a six-figure check during his daily lunch. The main issue here is that Cory was totally unaware of the competition. He is doing his best to plead his case now and we have been hoping that this situation comes to a swift resolution.

“That is the same,” Cory declares in his video, which has already gotten nearly 400,000 views. “What happens next? Can everyone tag Walkers, so we can sort this situation out please?”

We are right there with you, man. His fans have been bombarding the comment section and tagging the chip company as much as they can.

According to Insider, Walkers said the ship has now sailed. “Such a shame that Cory has eaten that crisp! We do need to be fair to all the other Walkers fans that have followed our competition T&Cs and held onto their crisp for safekeeping, so I’m afraid we won’t be able to accept his entry this time round. There’s still time if he wants to enter!” said a Walkers spokesperson.

Poor Cory. This is going to be a tough pill to swallow (no pun intended).
