This woman has decided to deck the halls in the most unique way possible and we cannot get over it. We have never seen a Christmas tree like this one before. We highly doubt that we ever will again either.
Sam Holtwick is one crafty mom and we support her DIY decorations. Would we emulate her tactics? Probably not but that is neither here nor there.
We can still respect the effort that she was willing to put in. While some are going to make fun of this, the “Christmas candy theme” that she decided is fresh and new. So, how did she go about the task at hand? She used an item that is not commonly associated with the majority of Christmas trees. Can you believe that used colorful loofahs?
It’s not an item that is usually found on Christmas trees but we are here for it. The loofahs that she used actually look pretty cool and we hope that she is not taking the haters’ comments to heart.
“Call me crazy but how have I not thought of this before?!” she captioned her TikTok, which has now gotten nearly 4 million views. “When you want a Christmas Candy Theme tree but don’t want to pay a ridiculous amount.”
The 16-second clip is a great watch if you want to see how her decorations are made. She takes a bunch of colorful sponges to get started. From there, she grabs some glue and rolls cardboard into a cone. It is easy enough to attach and the finished product looks an awful lot like some cotton candy.
Anyone who thought that she was just throwing a loofah on the tree and calling it good is sadly mistaken. This is some nice improvisation, especially if you are someone who does not have a lot of money to spend on new decorations. Once we saw the fully decorated tree, we understood the vision.

Where do you stand on this one? If you are anything like us, you are highly impressed by the ingenuity.
The comments were full of hate, though. “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should,” said one viewer. “That’s a no for me.” Meanwhile, others were willing to defend the mother.SKM: below-content placeholder
