This lemonade is such a simple delicious and refreshing beverage that you easily blend and serve. Lemonade by nature is just freshly squeezed citrus juice, sugar, and water. Well, what if we take a few notes from the popular Brazilian lemonade trend we saw in 2024 and use it in our tropical lemonade. Blend the fruit! We are going to combine tender clementines, seedless lemons, frozen pineapple, condensed milk, and water and create something better than orange juice. It makes for a great summertime beverage or a hot summer day refresher.

Start with picking a few good seedless lemons and thinned skinner oranges. Not only do we get all the nutrients the juice lends to this drink, but also the skin, so be sure to scrub the skin of the fruit with a clean towel before blending.

After the citrus is blended it’s time to add the flavor components. I like frozen pineapple, but even fresh or frozen mango would do the trick as well. Tropical fruit brings such a tropical moment to any party. You can easily make this a slushy version using ice instead of water or by freezing all your fruit.

Let’s sweeten this up with some condensed milk. You can use granulated sugar if you choose to avoid dairy, but I do think the sweetened milk gives this drink its shine and opaque color.

I find it best to leave this drink in the refrigerator at least one day before serving because of the effect the rind has on the drinks flavor. There are plenty of bitter flavors in the rind that add depth as it steeps in the drink. If you don’t prefer that bitterness, you’re best off serving this right away over ice.

Your guests will absolutely love the taste of this drink. The clementines really shine through in a gorgeous and refreshing way that really gives traditional lemonade a run for its money. Have some fun with this blueprint recipe! Use your favorite tropical fruits!
