We always love stories like these, as they remind us that celebrities are just regular people. Jennifer Garner’s act of kindness is a prime example of this.
When she went to Starbucks recently, she purchased a coffee of her own and from there, she decided to put a smile on everyone else’s face. She asked the cashier if she could pay for everyone else’s order as well.
The video was shared on her Instagram Story and later made its way to other social media platforms like Twitter.
In the clip, mint tea was her drink of choice, in case you are wondering. “And I have a question,” Garner said, as she held the cash in her hands. The barista was given a tip (an unknown amount) and Jennifer handed them a $100 bill as well. She wanted to know if it could be used to pay for other people’s orders until the money ran out.
“This is just to pay for whomever behind me,” she said. “Just tell them to have a good a good day and pass it on,” Garner continued. We love to see it and we are sure that you do as well. $100 probably covered a lot of orders and we are sure that these customers appreciated it.
Who wouldn’t love a free coffee to start their day with? We keep waiting for the day that this happens for us but until then? We are going to follow Jennifer’s lead and be the change that we wish to see in the world. It is time that we all started thinking of ways to brighten each other’s days at the moment.
In a world that is always full of bad news, it can be easy to lose sight of the importance of being kind to strangers. We are all guilty of this from time to time.
Who among us hasn’t gotten so wrapped up in their own concerns that they forgot to treat others with the same kindness and grace that we want from others?
