The Ghostbusters: Afterlife release is right around the corner and this blast from the past is drawing a lot of attention.

To commemorate the film’s release, Coca-Cola and Sony Pictures are offering up another time warp. The Hi-C Ecto Cooler is well known to many of the fans of the old school iteration of the franchise and now it will be making its triumphant return at long last.

Can you believe that these beverages were first released over 30 years ago? The parents who will be taking their little ones to see the newest installment are going to have a fun time explaining that one. Now, these radioactive green drinks are going to be released on a limited basis to the true fans of this venerable film franchise.

The refreshing citrus mixture of tangerine and orange fruit flavor creates a flavor experience unlike any other that you may have experienced in the past, especially those who are too young to remember the original drink.

The beverage’s bright green look is enhanced even further by the logo, which depicts the Ghostbusters’ mascot and friend holding up the Hi-C logo. The bright orange cap and tangerines in the back are also a great touch.

Of course, this is the part where we break hearts everywhere and let people know that these drinks are not going to be made available at the stores that you normally frequent. If you would like to take some home, you will need to head to the Hi-C Instagram page to learn more.

This is your chance to get slimed and we hope that our readers are able to get their hands on these drinks as soon as possible.

“Guess who escaped from the vault for an exclusive commemorative drop just in time for Ghostbusters: Afterlife? While this ghostly green drink won’t be available for purchase, show us the 💚 @DrinkHiC & @Ghostbusters, and you may get slimed!” the drink page shared.

As for us, we are already psyched to be catching this money this week.

In case you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be making its way to theaters on November 19.
