Now that everyone is excited about the Barbie movie that is about to be released, there is no shortage of Barbie-related content that will be making its way to our screens.

If you have spent any time on TikTok lately, you have probably seen the #Barbiecore trend. In addition to the upcoming movie, Barbie is also slated to be featured at New York and Chicago pop-up cafes during the summer.

It is safe to say that Barbie has come a long way since her humble beginnings as a Mattel doll back in 1959. Ruth Handler first created her as a means of showing little girls that they could be anything that they want to be.

Three years later, the Barbie Dreamhouse was introduced and she was off and running. During the ensuing decades, Barbie has only continued to grow in popularity.

Over the past 60 years, the doll and the dreamhouse have undergone many changes. The evolution has been awesome to see. It has never been easier for you to be a Barbie girl, living in a Barbie world. Now, the good folks over at HGTV are getting in on the fun. According to a trailer by HBO Max, this summer, you will be able to watch Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, a 4 episode series.

15 HGTV stars (and one Food Network chef) are going to be brought together for this special occasion. They will be creating their own Barbie Dreamhouse and we cannot wait to see the end results of their handiwork. Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson of “Married to Real Estate,” Ty Pennington of “Rock the Block,” Alison Victoria of “Windy City Rehab,” Christina Hall and James Bender of “Christina on the Coast,” Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle Williams of “Luxe for Less” are all going to be included.

Ashley Graham will be hosting the show and various renovation and home design experts are slated to be involved. Those who watch “Help! I Wrecked My House,” “Beachside Brawl,” F”armhouse Fixer,” “Bargain Block” and “100 Day Dream Home” are sure to love what (not to mention who!) they see.

Eight teams are going to have the chance to turn a Southern California home into the perfect Barbie residence. We are not going to spoil the fun but celebrity guests are slated to drop by, too.
