Grandson Shares Why He Got Ranked Last On His Grandma’s Family Leaderboard
Grandmothers always manage to reach a point in life where they do not care about sparing people’s feelings anymore.
The grandmother in this story is especially brutal and you won’t be able to stop laughing once you see what she is doing. This New York man has been victimized by her latest gambit: a family ranking board that he finds himself at the bottom of.
Dan LaMorte, 27, did not name his grandmother but he expressed his sadness about the fact that he has plummeted to the bottom of the ranks like this. She has a display board in her living room and she ranks her ten grandchildren accordingly. This is not something that we have ever heard of before but we have to give her props for being so honest with these kids.
“This is my grandma’s ranking board,” Dan shared, as millions of viewers looked on. “She has a wooden board where she ranks the grandchildren from one to 10, all of our faces on magnets,” he continued.
This is one of the meanest classification systems that we have seen and we understand why Dan is so worried. Wait until you see what caused him to drop so far!
“I’m No. 4, the highest I’ve ever been but did just get two new tattoos though, so I am a bit nervous about what that’s going to do for my ranking,” he fretted. From there, Dan is seen approaching his grandmother and he lifts his sleeve so that she can see his new ink. Her reaction to the tattoos says it all.
“This is what I think of your new tattoos,” she said, as she took Dan’s magnet and slid it all the way down to the very last slot.
Viewers could not stop laughing at this clip, as many of them began to speculate. “Will there be a final fight to the death at the end of the year?” asked one viewer. “Can you explain what the grandkids did to secure top and last spots? I’m so curious,” inquired another.

As it turns out, the top position is occupied by a cousin who has the good fortune of living next door, which is always sure to win Grandma’s approval. The second and third slots were given to grandchildren who work as a doctor and a dentist, respectively. As for Dan? He’s a stand-up comedian, which is not typically a job that grandmas love.
