Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

We would love to think that celebrities are just like us, and some of them try really hard to project that sort of aura. However, that illusion is shattered for most of us when we see the inside of their homes. The Hollywood elites that we look up to have much nicer residences than ours, and Gigi Hadid is definitely included among them.

She recently decided to share photos of her home in New York City. We had no idea what to expect but we are still stunned by what we saw. Gigi has pasta art in her kitchen and we cannot get over that. This is just the beginning, though. The Instagram photo set that she posted recently has received lots of shares and rightfully so. Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot. Of course it all came together right before quarantining out of the city…. but I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favorite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy. 💛 ++ my mamma:) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) ☺️ grateful to and for all. Special thanks to Gordon Kahn!

Hadid went a step further, too. In each of the slides in her photo set, she tagged the designers that were able to assist her. As anyone who has ever handled an interior decoration project can tell you, it can be tough to bring a vision to life. The colors and patterns that she chose speak to her specific taste. They’re all so bright! The kitchen is our point of emphasis, however.

Billiard balls fill the centerpiece and the cabinets are adorned with dyed pasta decorations. Linguine, penne, and bowties are also deployed liberally throughout the kitchen island. This was not a decision that she made lightly, either. As her post states, an expert, Linda Miller Nicholsen of @SaltySeattle, was consulted during this very crucial step of the decorative process.
