It seems co-star Paul Rudd isn’t the only Ghostbusters cast member who seems to have slowed the course of aging.
The latest installment of the Ghostbusters franchise, Frozen Empire, brings back the original 1984 film trio of Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and Dan Ackroyd, and pairs them with the cast of the 2021 re-boot Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Ernie Hudson stole the show at the London launch of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire on March 21. Looking laidback in jeans and a fitted black T-shirt, Hudson showed off his muscular, fit build. People online found it hard to believe that the veteran actor is 78 years old.
Save for a blast of salt and pepper at each temple, Hudson looks much like he did when he first played Winston Zeddemore almost 40 years ago.
Social media quickly noticed the 78-year-old actor’s impressive physique and expressed their admiration, quickly pairing his current look with images from the past.

“The next Ghostbusters needs to have them investigate why Ernie Hudson hasn’t aged in 40 years,” wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter. Another commented: “I pray I look this good in 40 years.”
