One of my all-time favorite breakfast indulgences would have to be an everything bagel loaded with a thick schmear of cream cheese. That nutty, savory crunch of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, and onion… yum! I got to thinking that those flavors are too tasty to be limited to only breakfast, and that’s how this recipe came to be. Everything Bagel dip is packed in all the beloved savory ingredients and mixes them into a rich base of cream cheese. It’s easy to whip up, always a crowd-pleaser, and the perfect recipe to have in your back pocket for last minute entertaining.

The base of this dip is a rich blend of softened cream cheese and tangy sour cream, whipped together until nice and smooth. Parmesan cheese adds a little extra oomph, then comes the good stuff, everything bagel seasoning. You’ll stir some right into the dip to spread that flavor through every bite, then save the rest for sprinkling on top. Some additional onion and garlic powder enhance that creamy base even more, then some fresh chives add the final punch.

You can serve this dip with crunchy chips, pretzels, or a platter of fresh-cut veggies. It’s equally at home on a game day spread or an afternoon snack, it even works as a spread for sandwiches or wraps if you really want to get creative. Keep the ingredients on hand, because once you serve it, you’ll be getting requests for it at every gathering.
