When you have been married for many years, you sometimes get used to each other but there are still occasions when you may step outside of your comfort zone and do something kind.

This was recently seen in Alberta when an incredibly kind man recognized that his wife was having difficulty doing her hair and makeup. He wanted to help, so he signed up for a beauty class.

CityNews Winnipeg reported that the man went to the Delmar College of Hair and Esthetics in his hometown to see if there were some lessons he could take.

Fortunately, Carrie Hannah was there and she is the school director. She didn’t hesitate to provide him with lessons, including how to apply mascara and curl hair.

It really touched Hannah’s heart, so she went to Facebook to post about what had happened. As you can imagine, the post went viral because it was a matter of true love that the man was willing to go the extra mile to help his wife be happy.

According to the news outlet, Hannah said: “He started to explain that his wife was struggling with her vision right now, and was struggling to curl her own hair and was burning herself. He really wanted to help her. He genuinely cared. He knows his wife always cared about her appearance, and he wanted to help her.”

The man, who wanted to remain anonymous, received something special and there’s no doubt that his wife felt special when he got back home. Hannah also received something as well, because it was just what she needed to cheer her up. In fact, she said that he “genuinely warmed everyone’s hearts.”

While he was taking his lessons, the 79-year-old man, who had been married for more than 50 years, showed pictures of his wife to everyone who would look, according to Fox News.

He talked about how his wife could type over 100 words a minute while she was working, and she had always taken pride in her appearance.

It’s nice to know that true love is still alive and kicking in Alberta.
