IKEA is a wonderful place for furniture. Where else can you find stylish home furnishings that are also affordable? IKEA also has surprisingly tasty treats. Their meatballs are essentially world-famous at this point. And adding to their repertoire of delicious morsels is IKEA Canada.
IKEA Canada has created edible furniture in the form of miniature gingerbread creations. They’re specifically made for the holiday season. The gingerbread cookie set consists of a MALM bed frame with a LACK night table, a STRANDMOM easy chair with coordinating RENS rug, a BILLY bookcase, and a JOCKMOKK dining table complete with matching chairs.
Like everything else in IKEA, these cookies are self-assembled. Each of the IKEA Gingerbread Höme kits come with limited edition cookie patterns. They also have instructions that can be downloaded. The kit also includes furniture-shaped cookie cutters to be able to assemble the edible furnishers.
The company added in their announcement, “At IKEA, we believe every house deserves to feel like a home – even if it’s made of deliciously sweet gingerbread.”
