Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

There are many reasons to look forward to springtime. It’s the time of year when we get the first hint of better weather after the long, cold winter months have beat us down.

It’s also the time of year when we enjoy some Easter peeps.

Peeps are those delicious marshmallow candies that hit the shelves yearly around Easter. There’s nothing quite like them, and they have become a tradition in many families that is enjoyed one year after another.

Traditionally, peeps come in fun flavors like cotton candy and original marshmallows. This year, you can expect three additional flavors on the shelves.

According to a press release, these new peeps will make Easter even more special. Enjoy Dr. Pepper, Mike and Ike, and kettle corn.

If you want to try all three, here’s how to do it:

Dr Pepper Chicks: Purchase at Walmart

Kettle Corn: Find at Kroger, Ralphs, and Fred Meyer

You can also try the Peep Easter Essentials pack. It includes marshmallows and jellybeans in a party pack. Head over to Sam’s Club for this treat.

Although we don’t yet know when the new flavors are going to start lining the shelves of the store, we do know that this is the largest Easter candy collection launch from the company, according to the press release.

Some additional flavors will also be returning, including cinnamon-flavored hot tamales, sour watermelon, and party cake.

Of course, you don’t have to wait till Easter to enjoy peeps. They are around for Valentine’s Day, so grab your fill of these marshmallow treats and start noshing.
