It can be difficult when you are traveling away from home and you just want something that feels normal. That is why many people turn to fast food, but there is still something about the food from your local area that seems to be irreplaceable.
That is, of course, until you find out what Domino’s pizza in Japan is doing. They are creating a number of unusual items, including the Sakusaku (“Crispy”) Fish and Chips pizza that took one Londoner by surprise.
The pizza was launched earlier in the year and it has been a surprise fan favorite. You would have to be from the UK, however, to truly appreciate what the pizza has to offer.
All across the top of the pizza are pieces of fried fish and potato, along with tartar sauce and a little bit of basil. When you bite into one for yourself, you get that taste of home, even though you may be visiting a land thousands of miles away.
One person on Twitter was not very happy with the invention, so Domino’s decided to offer him a free pizza.
What do you do when Domino’s pizza offers you a free pizza publicly in a Twitter debate? You change your mind and accept.

We are sorry our fish and chip pizza has caused so much trouble. We think it’s quite delicious. If you are in Japan and would like to challenge let us know👍 We may be able to work out a plan internally that we can offer to you for free!🍕

Just to FYI that I would probably quite enjoy eating this.
