People say always finish an achievement at a high, but for legendary singer Dolly Parton, better can always get better. So when her first line of cake mixes sold out at a rapid pace, she followed up with these new Southern-inspired baked goods.

Each year, Dolly Parton tops herself again. The now-inducted Rock-and-Roll singer took on another role — baking entrepreneur. Partnering with Duncan Hines, she released a line of cake mixes and coordinating frostings.

With immediate success, selling out in stores and online, it wasn’t enough to just release another batch of the same-old-same-old. Instead, this year’s release is with completely new mixes.

The lineup is still deeply connected in the Southern routes that Dolly calls home. The biscuit and cornbread mixes are the first savory mixes released, while the classic brownie and caramel brownie mixes are the newest additions to her sweet lineup of desserts.

At the beginning of the online release, Parton and Duncan Hines crafted a limited edition collector’s baking box. Outside of the four new baking mixes, the online-exclusive package included other goodies like a kitchen towel and a rubber spatula. This year there was a collection of recipe cards. Just like the old-fashioned recipe cards in our grandmothers’ kitchen, you can add them to your collection of recipes. The flavor combinations, which sound downright delicious, consist of cheddar chive biscuits, jalapeno cheddar cornbread, pecan caramel brownies, and peanut butter skillet brownies. Yet just like last year, the boxed collection is already sold out.

If you spot one of these mixes in a store, you definitely should buy one!
