Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

This bride came up with an awesome idea that was sure to make her wedding an awesome one. We love to see stories like these, as they remind us about the importance of getting into the wedding spirit.

When she decided to make welcome bags for all of her guests, she never could have expected such an excellent response but we are not all that surprised.

It’s always nice to get some appreciation when you travel to a wedding. We love to be there for our friends and loved ones’ special days but it is not always easy. It can be tough to figure out travel arrangements and all of that, especially in the current climate. This bride was able to look out for her guests and she was also able to save a buck or two in the process.

She put the bags together on her own, using supplies that she found on Etsy. She also relied upon local department stores and local vendors. Weddings are certainly not cheap and expenses have a way of adding up. DIY elements like these allow us to save plenty of money while ensuring the enjoyment of all of our guests.

Jordan Britt Lovato is the bride who shared this story on her TikTok page.

“Welcome bags we made for our guests checking into the hotel,” her caption reads. She obtained the welcome bags themselves off Etsy and they look amazing! That’s before we even get to what is inside of them. “Then I got these cute maps of Philadelphia made, also on Etsy. And these schedules of events,” she continued.

These schedules and maps were attached to the tote bag handles. They even included some beautiful artwork and typography.

Every gift bag came with a wide range of necessities, too. She included Cheez-Its, eyemasks, Advil, wipes, mints, makeup removal kits, and even some gum. The custom-made cookies are what attracted our attention the fastest, though.

The comments were full of support for this bride, as well as they should have been. Who doesn’t love to see this type of ingenuity?
