Walt Disney Company’s employees who are working from home are expected to continue with their current schedule, including employees at ESPN, Walt Disney Television, Parks, Experiences and Products, and Walt Disney Studios. Cast members are going to receive full pay during the closure, according to the Walt Disney Company.
These decisions were made in the best interests of the parks’ guests and employees. COVID-19 is also forcing the closure of the Universal Orlando Resort. Officials from the Universal Orlando Resort believe that the resort will remain closed until the end of the month but they are still monitoring the situation. Universal Orlando Resort’s Hotel and CityWalk are not closing at the present time.
