First up, Dawn is the perfect ingredient for a reusable ice pack. Simply pour some soap in a ziplock bag, making sure to get as much air out as possible, and stick it in the freezer. If you want to take it the extra mile, you can sew a little fabric cover so you can just pop it out of the freezer and use it on sore and aching muscles!
No need to spend money on deicers or salt for your driveway and sidewalk – make your own with dish soap! Simply mix 2 cups water, 1 cup rubbing alcohol and 1/4 cup dish soap. Mix together and pour on the slick spots in your driveway and let the deicer do its work!
