Creamy Crunchy Apple Salad
A creamy and crisp fruit salad to brighten up your plate!
When fruit salad sounds like a fruit fail, turn to this Creamy Crunchy Apple Salad. A simple dressing coats apples alongside some texture and flavor-packed side kicks for a salad that can stand out from the crowd.
As the warm weather settles in, the last thing one wants to do is stand over a stove and prepare a crazy amount of ingredients. Here, Creamy Crunchy Apple Salad is composed of a simple dressing coating ingredients that have a purpose and not just vain fillers.
The dressing is a quick no-brainer of mayonnaise, sugar, and lemon juice. If you want a lighter version for the dressing, you can swap out the mayonnaise with a thick-styled Greek yogurt.
Next, the apples, raisins, walnuts, and celery are added to the bowl and tossed with the dressing. The raisins, walnuts, and celery add contrast to the apples in both taste and texture.
To get that nice, cool bite, refrigerate the salad before serving.
Creamy Crunchy Apples Salad is far from your average bowl of wilted summer slaw. The texture is far from mushy and is a great side bursting with a menagerie of nutty, sweet, fruity, and earthy elements.
You can add or subtract the ingredients you like, making this salad super customizable. You can mix and match a variety of different apples as well, creating an even greater contrast and interest in the salad.
Either way, you mix it, this Creamy Crunchy Apple Salad will be a delight to make and eat!
