Crescent rolls can be so many more things than just a crescent roll. They’re one of the ultimate kitchen shortcuts! Here, they’re paired with four other simple ingredients to create a festive cheesecake stuffed pastry that works as an appetizer, dessert, or even breakfast. (And who doesn’t love such versatility?) When you need an easy but delicious thing to serve, here’s your go-to — you only need 10 minutes and 5 ingredients!

What Ingredients Do You Need for Cranberry Cheesecake Rolls?

You only need 5 things! They are:

  • A package of crescent rolls.
  • Cream cheese.
  • Powdered sugar.
  • Cranberry sauce. (I like using the whole berry kind.)
  • Vanilla extract.

And a pinch of salt, which I’m not counting as an ingredient. You can also opt to dust these in some sugar, but that’s totally optional.

How Do You Make Cranberry Cheesecake Rolls?

This will take you ten minutes or less to get in the oven. Ready? Here’s how it goes:

Unwrap that crescent roll dough and separate it at the seams. Lay the triangles out on a work surface.

Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. If your cream cheese is soft enough, you can accomplish this with a fork or a whisk. If it’s not so soft, a hand mixer does the trick nicely.

(Want extra credit? Mix in some orange zest here. It brightens things up beautifully!)

Take about a tablespoon of that cream cheese mixture and spread it on the widest end of the crescent dough triangle. Then, dollop that with a bit of the cranberry sauce.

Roll the dough forward into a spiral, working from the widest end to the shortest end. Place that on a baking tray. Repeat seven more times. Easy, right?

If you’d like, you can give these a little dusting of sugar for some sparkle and a small crunch. They’ll take about ten minutes in the oven and then you’re ready to serve! How can anything this tasty be so quick and easy?
