Bride Finds Beautiful Wedding Dress For Less Than $70
The idea of a bridal dress that is this inexpensive might seem like a total lie to many. We can already hear the chorus of brides out there talking about how expensive their weddings were.
However, this is a story that defies all logic. This is the story of a woman named Joanne Lewis, who claims to have found the dress that she is going to wear to her wedding. There is just one catch: It is a $66 dress that she found on SHEIN.
When the majority of us stop to think about where we are going to get our wedding dresses from, we are not typically thinking about fast fashion staples. When Lewis took to TikTok to show off her dress, she told the app that she was “so impressed” with her find.
“I think I have found the most perfect evening wedding dress or engagement party dress for $66,” said Joanna. We can see why she chose this dress, as it comes with a front split, a slight train, and a one-shouldered detail. That detail can be taken down and worn as a drape on the waist of the dress, which is a major selling point.
“I got a size small, it’s the smallest size they do, but it does run a little – just a little – bit large on the corset,” Joanna explained. That’s not all that she had to say about the dress, either. “I could get that taken in just a little bit because there’s a lot of stretch in it. I would also get it taken up, I am only 5-foot so things are always super long on me.”
“I am so beyond impressed with this – this looks very very luxurious,” Joanna continued. This is when the comment section went into overdrive. Many people told her that the dress looked cheap and that she could find something better than that. To her credit, she was not about to let them bully her out of her decision.
All she wanted to do was provide valuable inspiration for everyone else out there. It makes all the sense in the world to us. Who wouldn’t want to find a wedding dress for a low price? We are glad that she was able to locate the one that she needed and we hope that others are willing to hear her out on this one.
