Would you try it?
Brussels sprouts are rather unique because people either love them or hate them. If you are somebody who enjoys a delicious Brussels sprouts side dish, then you will love this new release from Sauce Shop. The British sauce maker has just released a limited-edition Christmas item, Brussels sprouts-flavored ketchup.
There are 15 sprouts in each bottle of the vegan/vegetarian-friendly Brussels Sprout Ketchup that sells for just under four dollars. If you happen to love sprouts, it is well worth a try. British Brussels sprouts were used for the creation of this condiment because they tend to be sweet and nutty flavored. Included in the mix are cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
The brand says that the best way to enjoy it is along with your Christmas dinner. It can be used as a dipping sauce for canapés or added to a Christmas sandwich. You might also want to pick up a few extra bottles to stuff some stockings.
“Our mission has always been a pursuit of flavor, which can only be achieved using high-quality, natural ingredients,” said Pam Digva, Co-Founder of Sauce Shop.
“Our limited-edition Brussels Sprout Ketchup, which we’ve developed exclusively for Amazon.co.uk, is a testament to the versatility of this highly nutritious, seasonal vegetable which has more vitamin C in one sprout than in an entire orange. It’s been a wonderful challenge to bring out the naturally sweet, nutty flavor of the often misunderstood Brussels sprout and we’re very proud of our sauce.”
