There are plenty of real estate shows to watch on television but Property Brothers just seems to have a special appeal. Drew and Jonathan Scott don’t necessarily have the same charisma as others in that space and nobody is really sure if they are contractors or realtors. That being said, it seems that people are heading to that HGTV show and now The Property Brothers are collaborating with Brad Pitt on a new show!
The new Property Brothers HGTV Series Is “Celebrity IOU.” The premise behind the show is for celebrities to offer home renovations as a surprise to their family and close friends. We’ve all seen our fair share of celebrity shows that go south very quickly but Celebrity IOU seems to have teamed up with some genuine stars, including Brad Pitt. When the show premiered on April 13, Pitt was surprising his makeup artist with the new guesthouse. Other celebrities, including Melissa McCarthy, Viola Davis, Rebel Wilson, and Michael Bublé, will be seen on future episodes.
Jean Black has worked with Brad Pitt as his makeup artist for more than 40 films, so he was aware that she wanted to turn her “dingy storage space” garage into a beautiful guesthouse. “She’s family, we’re like brother and sister,” Pitt says during the episode. “She’s been that person I value so much in my life.” Brad Pitt even helped out during the remodel, which was awesome to see.

“When we were doing demolition, he beat me through the walls. Like, he smashed through that thing like no one’s business,” Jonathan told Entertainment Tonight. “It was so cool to see someone that’s such a huge celebrity just want to get in and put his own hands in on the work because he wanted to do this for someone he loves.”
When the big reveal took place, Pitt started to get emotional. “This will mean so much to her,” he said. “I’m the guy who’s gonna cry on television. I can’t take it in just yet, what it will mean to her, and all the people she helps, and how much she means to me. It’s just great.”
