Third-grade student Tripp Thomure recently had the most amazing experience and we are happy to have the chance to share it with you.

The 9-year-old boy was given the chance to hit the stage during a recent performance at his school. The results are absolutely tremendous. The performance took place at Ralls County Elementary School class in Center, Missouri.

This young man let the music take control, as you can see in the viral clip. These kids were in the midst of a choreographed song and dance routine but they were also given the chance to showcase their own moves. Thomure was not about to let this opportunity pass him by, either. Lindsey Woodhurst, 30, was able to capture the moment and she was proud to share her son’s dancing with the rest of the world.

“When your son breaks it down in front of the whole school,” she wrote in the caption of her ensuing TikTok video. Tripp was breaking out all kinds of moves. The best part for us was that he maintained a serious facial expression throughout.

According to the New York Post, Woodhurst shared that this viral moment is just a momentary glimpse into her son’s true personality. “He likes to show off his dance moves! Tripp is so original and the video really shows his personality,” she says. “He lives life to the fullest,” she continued.

Of course, the clip went viral. It has since received over 8 million views, a fact that is certainly not lost on young Tripp.

“He’s always wanted to be TikTok famous and now he’s going to get it done!” his mother says. “So many commenters have said how funny he is. People online have been encouraging him to just keep being himself.”

The best part of all? He actually got a comment from the one and only Kevin Bacon. “Nothing to be ashamed of, just some great moves,” said the actor. As the star of the classic film Footloose, there are few people who are more qualified to make this type of assessment.
