This woman was born with a sizable birthmark and as you might have expected, it made her a bit self-conscious.
In fact, she spent years unwilling to even wear shorts because she did not want the birthmark to be exposed. Now, all of that has changed and she has her new tattoo to thank for that. It’s quite the sight to behold.
Quinn is now more than happy to show off her birthmark, as the tattoo has provided her with a whole new lease on life. The idea that she came up with is an awesome one. She turned the birthmark into a gorgeous sunflower.
Now, she loves to display it and she is sharing her story with others. Hopefully, others who have birthmarks are able to take some valuable inspiration from this woman.
“I used to be so self-conscious of my birthmark to where I’d never wear shorts but then I stopped giving a f**k and I made it into a sunflower,” Quinn says on TikTok. “And now it’s my favorite tattoo and part of myself.” From there, she went on to speak out about the importance of being comfortable with one’s own body.
It can be hard to accept oneself and Quinn is living proof of that. She is speaking from experience here. Her words carry more weight than most. “Learning to love yourself won’t happen overnight and there will be people who make you feel bad about yourself but it’s worth it because your body does so much for you,” she continued.
