When it comes to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, we have a lot of questions that need to be answered. For starters, there is one question that always comes to the forefront of our thought process.
How is this company able to churn out the sheer amount of ice cream that they do? When we found out that they are able to create one million pints per day, we had so many follow-up questions.

That’s what makes this video such an amazing one. The good folks at Business Insider sent Abby Narishkin to Vermont, so that she could find out more.
The company’s operations are based in St. Albans and we loved having the chance to take a closer look at their day to day. It is not every day that you get to enjoy this sort of insider’s view.

This factory is able to churn out the aforementioned million pints on a daily basis and now we have been able to see how it is done. We still struggle to wrap our minds around it but that does not mean that we are confused by any stretch. It is just an excuse for us to watch this video again and again. After all, who could ever get tired of watching ice cream get made?
Narishkin’s video is an awesome one, as she takes the time to provide us with all of the necessary background information. She was able to speak with a number of plant workers and get an up-close look at how the ice cream is made. Abby was even able to explore the brand’s storied history a bit further.

Ben and Jerry’s has been a fixture on American store shelves for some time and we enjoyed having the chance to learn all sorts of fun facts that we did not know. The brand definitely comes from some very humble beginnings and we have enjoyed watching them blow up.
“From a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, they launched a brand based on sustainable ice cream making and advocating for causes they believed in, and it worked. Today, Ben & Jerry’s is the best-selling single brand ice cream label in the US,” the description reads.
