The best inventions take place when someone sees that there is an existing market gap that they would like to fill. In many instances, the “Eureka!” moment takes place when the person realizes that they can fulfill a need that they have been having in their own life.

This is what happened to Salt Lake City’s Taylor Richardson after her own wedding had already taken place.

She wanted to be able to put her wedding photos on social media the day after the ceremony but soon realized that she could not.

Taylor thought about it for a bit and realized that this was a major inefficiency in the marketplace that needed to be addressed.

Instead of taking to the internet to complain, she decided that it was time to do something about it. The end result was an awesome one.

She elected to jump into the wedding content creator waters. Her business is called BACH’D and she aims to assist couples who are unable to access their photos as quickly as they would like.

She uses her iPhone or the couple’s phone to take photos and pictures during the ceremony and reception.

From there, it is much easier for couples to share the content in question on their social media platforms of choice. Other wedding capturing services simply cannot provide the “now factor” that couples need and that’s where Taylor aims to please. She only charges between $1,250 and $1,450 for her services, which pales in comparison to the $5,000 that other wedding content creators will ask for.

“I felt like there was something missing in the wedding industry,” she shared in her TikTok video. “That ‘now’ factor was missing.”

She does not look at herself as a replacement for the traditional wedding photographer. Instead, she views the surfaces that she has to offer as more of a bonus feature, as opposed to the main event.

The only editing that she does takes place with the Instagram reels and TikToks that the couple decide to post, only if asked. “The fact that they’re able to have 700-plus videos and photos on their phone the night of their wedding is major,” she says. “You’ll be able to relive your whole entire day within 24 hours. I capture things that people, one, don’t notice, two, they weren’t there for – because the couple’s all over the place — or three, like, they just forgot about.”
