Emily McGuire is a proud mother of three and a photographer by trade who also happens to be an Amazon addict. According to McGuire, she receives “two to three boxes” from the retailer on a weekly basis.
Once Emily’s birthday drew near, her husband, Mac, knew he had to make it extra special. So he decided to purchase a cake that was designed to look like her favorite packages. Of course, it was a smash hit!
The cake arrived looking just like one of her many favorite orders and was even decorated with Amazon Prime tape along with a personalized shipping label.
Dunn, North Carolina’s own Sweet Dreams Bakery is responsible for the custom cake.
“It was delicious!” Emily told Cafe Mom. All she could do when she first laid eyes on the cake was laugh. “In that moment, I knew my husband ‘gets me,'” she said.
From there, the cake took on a life of its own online and went viral overnight. Emily never could have expected that so many other women would relate to or admire her cake. As it turns out, she’s not the only one receiving packages from the online retailer on a regular basis. Big shock there 😉
