Not everybody enjoys getting out on the water, but those who do recognize what a good kayak has to offer. It allows them to explore the water in ways that other vessels are unable to do.

When most people think about kayaks, they consider them to be somewhat straightforward, but if you have a disability, you realize that they aren’t always the easiest item to use, especially when it comes to getting on board.

That is about to change, thanks to the launch of an adaptive kayak launch by Board Safe Docks.

For those who have physical limitations of any type, this kayak launch is going to be a game-changer when it comes to getting out in the water.

Interestingly, this kayak launch will be used in different ways, depending upon the disability of the user. In any case, however, it offers what is necessary to easily launch a kayak and get in and out of it easier.

Some of the options that have been added to this adaptive kayak launch include handrails, overhead straps, a slide-out bench, and transition steps.
