Now that we have matured a bit, we find ourselves in the mood to listen to Christmas music all year round. That’s what makes this cover such an amazing one. It can be hard to fill Mariah’s considerable stilettos but this man is doing his best to provide us with a great spin on the holiday classic.
In fact, we are willing to bet that the queen herself would approve of this one. Danish musician Soren Boedker Madsen is one of the most gifted talents that we have come across lately and we have not been able to get enough of his take on the song. This “fingerstyle” cover is one of the merriest things that you are going to hear anytime soon, that is for sure.
A song like this is a surefire way to keep spirits high during the holidays and we hope that Mariah herself is willing to weigh in eventually. He uses an acoustic guitar to make the song his own, providing us with an interesting glimpse into his creative process.
