6’10” Man Goes Viral After Getting Special Treatment On Airplane
Being tall seems like it would be pretty awesome but there are certain drawbacks that have to be mentioned as well.
While there are a lot of perks to being tall, we do not wish to be tall when we are boarding a plane, that is for sure.

Seva Mozhaev is 6’10” and recently experienced this issue firsthand. The poor man was crunched into an economy seat and looked absolutely miserable.
Some airlines would have ignored his discomfort and stopped caring. He was mashed into this Jetstar seat when he recently took a flight from WA to Victoria.

Fortunately, they decided to look out for Seva. He is sharing this story with the rest of the world, in hopes that other airlines are spurred to make the right decisions going forward. After all, no one should ever have to go through what he experienced.
At first, you can see his facial expression and he looks very perturbed. “Flight attendant to the rescue,” the caption reads and his fortunes change from there. They moved him to a different section of the plane, where he is given far more legroom to work with. The facial expression changes at this time and we are so happy for him.

“Jetstar staff care,” he writes in his video. “Glad you got to stretch out a little in the end,” Jetstar replied to his video. Sadly, flyers of Seva’s height are regularly forced to shell out for expensive upgrades or they are asked to brave a terribly uncomfortable flight. That’s what makes this video such an excellent one.
According to Seva, these types of moments are very rare for people of his height. They are typically expected to grin and bear it. “That was a very surprising moment because I normally have to pay an upgrade on any flights domestically,” he says. “The fact that the plane was almost fully booked and I was very lucky that seat was available by the time the cabin closed – I was like, ‘that’s amazing.'”

“I want the emergency exit and to see that there’s a $50 to $100 (AUD) Extra – I get it from your average height – But I just don’t get why should I be paying more?” he asked. Kudos to Jetstar for doing right by Seva, who should definitely not be paying more just because he was born tall.
