The process of pumpkin carving probably does not seem all that complicated to most of us. After all, we have been doing it for quite some time now.

If there’s anything we have learned from our YouTube deep dives, it is that there are always new ways to go about a seemingly simple task, though. This man is living proof of that and we cannot look away.

Halloween Wars champion James Hall is here to explain himself and we are loving every minute of it. He spoke to the good folks at Wired about his pumpkin carving tactics recently. It is a must-add to your bookmarks so that you can consult it every Halloween.

We did not realize that there are so many different ways to carve a pumpkin. Did you know that there actually 13 different levels of difficulty?

We had no clue and this is one of the coolest videos that we have seen in some time. We’re also glad that we saw it in time. Otherwise, we would have been kicking ourselves over the lack of options that we thought we had when it comes to carving.

In case you are confused, Hall is here to explain all of it to you. There is no stone that is being left unturned here. He lays it all out in layman’s terms in a recent YouTube video with WIRED, so that the carving process is made easy. This is true, even if you are choosing the more difficult methods that are on display. Trust us on this one!
