If you are the type of person who makes splurges based on what you see on TikTok, this is a story that you are going to want to read.
Paige Pritchard is someone who made a lot of financial mistakes, and she’s here to share them with the world. Her needless spending plunged her into a very difficult financial ordeal and now she wants to help others to avoid the fate she experienced.

Can you believe that she was making $60,000 per year, living with her parents, and still managing to blow every penny?
She fell into the habit of shopping to relieve her stress. It was not long before she started to experience serious financial troubles. “[Spending money] turned into a source of entertainment,” Pritchard admits in her video. “What started off as a couple of trips to the mall turned into weekly trips [where] I would drop several hundred dollars.”

After a while, she realized that she was never going to achieve her dreams. She wanted to own her own home and was never going to be able to at the rate she was spending.
Paige finally made the necessary changes and overhauled her spending habits. She is sharing her story, in hopes that others will be able to learn from the errors in judgment that she made.

One of the major problems that she experienced was related to TikTok. The app certainly manages to skew a lot of people’s perceptions of what they can and cannot spend.
“The more time I spend on this app, the more I’m seeing these themes coming through about what your consumption habits should look like that actually aren’t very normal,” she explains. “I want to point them out to you, so that if you see them on this app, you can just keep all of this in mind to know that these themes aren’t really the way that you should be spending your money.”

From there, she examines the themes that she has taken notice of when it comes to TikTok-related spending.
“As soon as you buy something, and you start using it, something better is going to come along,” she says.

“Not only does constantly upgrading your items waste money, but it also ensures you will end up with more junk and clutter.”
