When I buy a kitchen gadget, I want to get a good run for my money, the problem is I always hit a wall with one appliance – the waffle maker. Sure, a waffle maker is great for Christmas morning or Mother’s Day brunch, but during the rest of the year, I find it collecting dust. At last, I’ve found many ways to use the waffle maker for things other than waffles!

Sure there’s the classic viral mac-n-cheese or pizza waffle, but these two videos show that there’re way more ways to utilize a waffle maker.

Think you need a skillet to make eggs? Nope just spray up your waffle maker and crack those eggs!

Keep an eye on your eggs as they cook, especially if you want a runny yolk. Be careful as you take the eggs out, remove them by touching the seams of the waffle shape and not the center of the eggs themselves, or else you’ll crack the yolk.

Don’t want to fire up the oven? Turn to your waffle maker! Hefty things like cinnamon rolls and brownie batters are perfect, these may take a little more time, but still, keep an eye on them to prevent them from burning. Top them with softened frosting to have an ultimate gooey dessert experience.

So when in doubt, turn to your waffle maker for a new and unique way to make a delicious dish or treat!
