Tortellini Piccata Horizontal 3

I’ll let you in on a little secret… an amazing dinner does not have to take you all night to make. And no recipe proves that point quite as well as this super easy Tortellini Piccata. It’s a simple stove-top dish that is absolutely packed with decadent flavor. Cheese tortellinis are cooked in a rich and velvety butter sauce, then lemon and capers are mixed in for a final result that wows.

If you aren’t familiar with a piccata sauce, let me describe the flavor. It’s more or less like a warm vinaigrette. Bright lemon juice, briney capers, and garlic give the sauce a bite that is then beautifully rounded out with a generous amount of butter. Yum! It’s usually served with chicken, but this tortellini version certainly gives the classic dish a run for its money.

If you’re short on time and need an impressive dinner, this is the dish to make. Serve it with a big salad and a loaf of bread and you’re good to go. A one-pan recipe that’s ready in under 30 minutes, can’t beat that!
