Teen Builds Cabin In The Woods Without Using Power Tools
This Swedish man is a testament to the power of believing in yourself and never giving up.
The prospect of spending three years alone in the woods working on a log cabin without power tools might seem crazy to some but this man is more than happy with his decision.

If you do not believe us, take a moment to check out his story for yourself. Erik Grankvist shared on YouTube:
“When I was 17 I became tired of living in Stockholm Sweden. I didn’t connect with people and sought something bigger in life. I became obsessed with the idea of just packing a rucksack and wondering off into the vast forest of Sweden to create my own life, living off the land and build a log cabin. My Grandparents owned forest so I spent more and more time with them over weekends and such, wondering out and dreaming of my obsession.
When I turned 18 I told everyone of my plans and I received a GoPro camera from my parents, so I could at least film some of my adventures. I hadn’t thought about filming anything but I did so. And that basically became this film. I later on also became very passionate about filming, accumulating better gear. I filmed and edited everything myself.”

If you would like to see this film for yourself, it is an awesome watch. We must warn our readers, though. This is not one of those shorter time-lapse films that you are used to seeing. You are going to need to carve out some time in order to check this one out.
It is well worth your time, though. The film is 90 minutes long but it is one of the more relaxing things that we have seen recently.

We certainly had a great time watching it as we wound down for bed and this is one of the best times to see it. It is always nice to watch a more soothing film before we hit the hay.
We are clearly not the only ones who are loving this movie, as it received over 7 million views in the first two weeks of being on YouTube.
