The teapot on the ring is actually hollow, so it acts as a secret compartment!
When it comes to jewelry, everyone has their personal preferences and tastes. For example, my mom LOVES earrings. The bigger and more colorful, the better. Meanwhile, I can’t stand wearing earrings. I prefer subtle and more delicate necklaces or bracelets. But one thing that we both agree on, is we like our jewelry to be unique and something that makes the right statement for our personalities.
If you’re someone who likes rings, or tea, or both, then you’ll definitely love a very unique, hand-crafted teapot ring. Made by Indian jewelry designer Astha, this is definitely a statement piece for anyone who is a hardcore tea lover as the little sterling silver ring features a delicate handle, a spout, and a small teacup.
The design of the mini teapot set is actually based on antique silver teapots that are traditional to India. In fact, the pot and cup both have had traditional decorative motifs etched onto them.
And what is so cool about this ring is it has been made to look like it’s pouring tea into its cup. But what’s even more special about the cup is there is a secret compartment to it.
The inside of the teapot has been hallowed out in order for the wearer to be able to put small keepsakes in their ring. In case you’re wondering how this is possible, the ring itself measures 4.6 x 2.5 inches. Safe to say it is a ring that won’t go unnoticed whenever you wear it.
While the design is adorable, it’s not the only piece of jewelry that Astha has created. She has an Etsy store in which she features many other crafted pieces of bars, such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Undoubtedly, there is something for everyone.
