Starbucks Baristas Share Hacks To Save Money

If you are looking to get more bang for your buck (and who isn’t these days?), this is the perfect story for you.

Inflation has hit Starbucks again and prices continue to rise. In fact, the prices have gone up at least three times within the past five months. Now, Starbucks baristas are doing their best to help out their customers during these trying financial times.

The tips and tricks that these baristas have to offer are pretty awesome, as they will allow customers to place their orders in a more efficient manner. Barista Melika Ahmadian is here to share tips and they make a whole lot of sense from where we are sitting.

She suggests ordering a trenta cup of your beverage of choice with no ice and a plain venta cup with ice.

From there, you can pour half of the trenta drink into the venta cup to feel like you have two beverages. The amount of drink you get is the same, but it’s cheaper to order one large and pour it into two cups than to order two smaller sizes!

Starbucks employee Christine Kominek has also provided some helpful tips and pointers to those who are in need. For example, a Starbucks cardholder can be granted free refills of hot or iced drip coffee.

That’s a nice park but she is taking things to the next level by teaching people how to turn these free refills into something that is even better.

“You can start with a pumpkin spiced latte and go back and get a free refill of hot coffee, with extra steamed milk, and pumpkin spice syrup, and you’ll get another drink,” Christine shared.

These are some great hacks that we never would have thought of on our own. It’s awesome that the baristas are willing to provide us with such great insight!
