The Smithsonian Museum Is Seeking Old Disney Photos To Display In Future Exhibit
If you have Disney photos that you would like to share with a much wider audience, this is your chance to do just that. If you and your family have photos from one of your past trips, the Smithsonian wants all of them as soon as possible.
Families nationwide have been given the go-ahead to offer up their old pictures at Walt Disney World or Disneyland.

“Our team at the National Museum of American History is working on a future project, and we’re looking for images that capture your experiences as guests,” said the museum in a statement on their website. There are no shortage of photos that are going to be accepted so be sure to send lots of pictures with friends and family.
You can also showcase the time that you spent at Cinderella’s castle. Some may even want to include snapshots with various Disney characters. Those who decide that they are going to submit pictures to the museum are also being encouraged to add some background information.

They are being urged to tell the Smithsonian about these trips and why these photos are so special to them. It’s an awesome project that we can’t wait to hear more about.
Of course, it is important to note that all of the photos are not going to be accepted by the museum so tread lightly. Don’t make the all too common mistake of sending your only copy and then expecting the Smithsonian to send them back. We cannot even begin to imagine how many submissions they are probably getting at the moment.

When you are ready to submit your photos, simply head to the American history website and they will guide you through each and every step of the process. Trust us on this one, the submission process is about as easy as it gets.
Have we ever steered you wrong in the past? Of course not! This is your and your family’s chance to go down in history. Don’t let it pass you by.
