With the rise of social media, we’ve also seen a rise in different filters. Filters are great. They can take you from beast to beauty real quick, something I’m so grateful for whenever I feel like posting a selfie.
But besides being able to smooth out skin, add thicker lashes, or make your skin sparkle, filters can also be much more comical. Not all filters deal in beauty.
In fact, a fair few of them can actually be funny with silly face mutations or voice changers. But there is one filter, in particular, that sent a mom into hysterics when she tried it on her baby.
Babies don’t have teeth. We all know that. But what we didn’t know is that this filter gives us a pretty good insight into why nature decided babies should be born toothless. It’s downright scary!
TikTok user, @vanzalves, shared a video of her baby, Jack, smiling using a filter that gives him teeth. It is so unnatural-looking and bizarre that the mom can’t help but bust out in hysterics.
If you can get over the weirdness of seeing a little baby with teeth, then yes the TikTok clip is actually quite funny. But let me tell you, it is a good thing babies don’t have teeth that young – it’s so freaky looking!
