This New Yorker has gone viral for the craziest reason! You won’t be able to believe your eyes once you see this amazing clip. They have revealed the city’s shortest street.

We are being provided with a tour of Edgar Street in this clip. For those who are unaware, Edgar Street is considered to be New York City’s tiniest road by most measures.

Dan Bravo (also known as dan.bravo on TikTok) is the one who has decided to share this one with us and we are loving every second of it. As non-New York City residents, we had no idea that short streets even existed in this city. We just assumed that every street was as long as possible. Until we saw the clip for ourselves, we had no idea about Edgar Street.

That’s the beauty of TikTok for you. We are given the chance to see things through a completely different prism. In fact, we have seen a legion of TikToks that have us looking at the Big Apple in a whole new way.

We are always learning new facts and tidbits. The video where we were shown the “fake subway” that is located beneath Times Square was a highlight, as was the video filled with secret codes that allow for easier navigation of Central Park.

Meanwhile, the clip from Dan was a bit shorter than these. He does take the time to offer up a quick explanation about Edgar Street and what makes it such a bizarre location. Edgar Street consists of a very short stretch that leads up to a parking garage. In fact, it is only 63 feet long.

“There are no addresses on it,” says Dan. Edgar Street is located off Trinity Place in Lower Manhattan and the New York Stock Exchange is a mere block away. Best of all, there is even a TGI Friday’s located right across the street!

There are other contenders for the title, too. Mill Lane, which is located a few blocks from this location, is also believed to have a legitimate claim at being the city’s shortest street. Judging from the comments, we were not the only TikTok users who had no idea that this street existed.

It is always good to know that you are not the only one who is in the dark. We will definitely be exploring this one for ourselves as soon as possible.
