Sometimes, not everything is as it seems. When the University of Tennessee cheerleaders were on the field during a dance routine, at first it looks as though one of the security guards was getting in the way of their performance.
The man in the blue shirt stands there, looking like he’s doing his job when he happens to get in the way of the cheerleaders as they start to dance.
In fact, he even bumps into one of the women who was trying to do her routine. But, then, the woman vacates the spot as another man walks over as through to confront the security guard. This is the part where most viewers would assume that an argument is about to take place, but then something amazing happens.
It turns out to all be staged! That is correct, the “security guard” in question is actually Michael Galyean, an aspiring actor, and dancer.
It turns out that Galyean was personally approached by the dance team’s coach, Kelly Tafazzoli, to be a part of their routine.
According to Yahoo!, Tafazzoli later stated of the performance, “I knew that he could not only look the part, but he was a very talented dancer.”
Galyean was officially approached about being a part of the dance routine on the 20th of October, and by the 23rd, he’d received a video of the routine he’d be performing. It wasn’t like he had long either, the performance was scheduled for the 29th of October. And yet, Galyean certainly nailed it – even with just one hour of official practice time with the cheerleading team!
