The cheesy, layered masterpiece that is Sunday lasagna is a sight to behold, but honestly, the hankering for lasagna strikes up, and the craving strikes hard. When making Sunday gravy and prepping your noodles sounds like a mountainous task to do, then your quick fix is this Ramen Lasagna recipe. While this is not your grandmother’s recipe, Ramen Lasagna is a fun, funky spin on a staple meal that is full of comfort-food-worthy indulgence that checks off all of the saucy, cheesy, carby boxes.

The internet is full of precarious recipes, and TikTok is a dubious source, but when I came across this quick hack to have lasagna in no time, I knew it had potential. This version is super simple, with four ingredients and barely any prep. It’s a quick weeknight meal that gets to the table in a flash.

Next, you grease an 8-x-8-inch square baking pan and line the bottom of the pan with some of the Italian-seasoned tomato sauce.

Then add your first layer of noodles, followed by some sauce and cheese.

Repeat this process until the noodles, sauce, and cheese are used up. Top the lasagna with the remaining cheese.

To prevent any oven disasters, put the pan on a baking tray and bake the lasagna until the sauce is bubbling, and the cheese is melted.

Eaten warm from the oven, this Ramen Lasagna is a gooey, saucy sorcery. The noodles are cooked through without being too soft, the tomato sauce is packed with herby flavor, and the cheese has a creaminess and a good, melty cheese pull.

You might not want to admit how good this lasagna spinoff is, but rest assured, it’s a guilty treat you won’t have to share.

Ingredients
  • 4 packets ramen noodles, discard flavor packet
  • 4 cups tomato sauce, divided
  • 2 cups grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 8-x-8 casserole dish with baking spray, set onto baking tray, set aside.
  2. Take each square of ramen noodles and break the noodles in half through the middle.
  3. Place one layer of ramen noodles on bottom of pan. Top with 2 cups tomato sauce, 1 cup parmesan cheese, and 1 cup mozzarella.
  4. Repeat process by stacking the second layer of ramen noodles on top followed by the remaining tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately and enjoy.
