Woman Shares Bizarre Symptom She Developed While Pregnant
Ask any woman who has ever been pregnant and they will tell you, things don’t always go as expected.
There are going to be hiccups along the way and sometimes, we may not be able to explain everything that is taking place with our bodies.
That is what one mother is experiencing and it is so unusual, she decided to go on TikTok and share it with her followers. It happened at 39 weeks of pregnancy when her skin became soft and you could work it, almost like pizza dough.
You can watch as her partner pushes his finger into the leg and leaves an imprint. She captioned the video “Being pregnant is fun,” but we know she is being facetious.
According to Medical News Today, this may not be as strange of a symptom as most people thought.
In fact, many pregnant women (and non-pregnant people with swelling) have this problem called pitting edema, and generally speaking, there is nothing to be concerned about.
On the other hand, it is important to discuss this or any new symptoms with the doctor because it could be a sign of high blood pressure or other issues that would need to be addressed.
