The worldwide pandemic has changed travel plans for people everywhere, including those who had been looking forward to a trip to Disneyland or Disney World. Some of those trips had been in the making for many years, and it can be heartbreaking when you have to watch that ship sail. If you happen to fall in that category, there is something to help make the time at home a little easier: Dole Whip beer.
It seems as if a brewmaster has found a way to make the Disney treat into a beer flavor. Ever since 1968, Dole Whip has been a go-to treat at the parks. It is made from pineapple juice, frozen pineapple, and vanilla soft serve and it instantly put you in mind of Disney. You can always make the treat at home, but why not take things to the next level and enjoy the beer?
This is not the first time that Dole Whip has been used as a theme for an adult beverage. The beer, available from Gainesville, Florida’s First Magnitude Brewing Co., is rather unique. It is a Dole Whip Sour, and it is everything good that we enjoy about the frozen treat, even if we have to enjoy it without Mickey Mouse.
As you can imagine, Dole Whip Sour didn’t stay on the shelves for long. Don’t be too sad over the situation, however, Popsugar reports that First Magnitude Brewing Co. is going to be brewing it again.
First Magnitude has a number of other creative brews that you may want to try, including Cherry Limeade Sour made with real cherries!
