Turns Out That Your iPhone Has A Mousepad Feature
I don’t know about you, but I’m not as tech-savvy as I’d like to be. I may be in my early 30s, but sometimes I feel more like I’ve got an 80-year-old woman living inside me. If you’re like me, then you were today years old when you figured out that your iPhone has a hidden mouse feature.
If you own an iPhone with 3D Touch capability, then you may or may not be aware that there is a hidden feature that makes exigent text on your phone that bit easier: a mouse!

Most of us have probably been in the scenario where we’re typing something out, only to later realize we’ve made a mistake. That is when we typically tap the screen where we want to fix the mistake, or alternatively, we press down on the screen until we create the magnifier tool in order to edit in that manner.
Of course, sometimes our own fingers might get in the way of what we’re trying to fix and we end up making more typos than we’re trying to fix. But luckily for us, Apple experts show us that there is an easier way to do things after they came up with a solution for their latest generation of iPhones.

Now, the iPhone keyboarders can double as a mousepad, meaning any edits you want to make to text will be easier than it ever has been before. In order to get your hidden mousepad to activate, you simply need to press on any key until all of the keys turn blank and you feel a light buzz from your phone’s screen – this is also known as the taptic feature.
It’s this feature that will covert the keyboard into a mousepad that you can then maneuver using your finger. The keyboard will track your finger’s movement, making all-around easier to navigate on the small screen.

It also means that you won’t have to worry about the problem of blocking any of your own edits with your finger anymore, since it will stay a mousepad the entire time until you’re ready to exit out of the feature.
How cool is that? A much easier way to type on an iPhone – we couldn’t be happier!
