Growing your own vegetables is one of the most rewarding pursuits that a person can take on. There is something very therapeutic about it and it is also nice not to have to go to the grocery store for every little thing.

Of course, there are zero guarantees that the vegetables will grow in the manner that we desire. Now, these hosts are going through that exact issue.

We have never experienced this type of frustration in our own lives before but we are empathetic. The television hosts told their story on a recent episode of This Morning. Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were in the process of discussing their current crops and it was a moment a lot of us could relate to.

When Phillip asked Holly about her plants and if they were growing in the proper manner, you could tell immediately where the conversation was going. Holly is struggling but to her credit, she was willing to share her experiences with the rest of us. She admitted that it is not going well and she was definitely a good sport about the whole thing.

Her honesty was refreshing, to say the least. “Well I’ve tried but I’ve not actually eaten any yet,” Holly said to Phillip. Apparently, she planted her tomatoes too early and they did not grow in the manner that she had hoped, which is something many can relate to. However, she then explained that her corn wasn’t growing either, but her explanation was something that left Phillip scratching his head in confusion.

Apparently, she wasn’t looking for the corn on the proper part of the plant!

Our words cannot do that story justice, though. You are going to have to watch this one for yourself.
