It’s the type of commitment that we wish we had. For the most part, we tend to spend Christmas Day (and night) laying around in a food-induced coma. The fact that this woman works so tirelessly and remains proactive makes her an inspiration to us all. Once you find out more about this mother’s reasoning, you will be so happy for her daughter.

She posts on TikTok under the name @bruh.georgia and the explanation is simple. “When your daughter’s birthday is December 26,” she says. “Time to get on with the birthday decorating,” Georgia added.

All of the kids out there who have birthdays during the Christmas season are sure to appreciate this one. These kids are always getting left out, as parents who are already tired and stretched to the limits look to combine the festivities. Georgia is not like most mothers, though. As many of the commentators already pointed out, she is a wonderful parent. Of course, there were some who had to know why the decorations had to come down. Couldn’t she just leave up the Christmas decorations and put up birthday decorations for her daughter as well? Georgia has a very simple answer for all of the naysayers out there who have various questions.

“If my birthday was the day after Christmas I can think of nothing worse than having the tree up so that’s why I take it down. I try and make it as normal as possible for her. It’s our own little family tradition to take the tree down on Christmas night ready for her birthday tomorrow,” she says.
