If you think that your life is out of control, this story is sure to make you feel a bit better. We cannot believe how selfless this woman is but we are glad that people like her exist.
At the tender age of 23, TikTok user Tusayiwe Mkhondya is mothering 34 kids, and now she is here to tell us more about her daily routine. No, they are not all her own.
She runs a home in Malawi that provides housing for orphans, teen mothers, and street kids. She became a single mother herself at the age of 18 and from there, she founded her own organization designed to help people like her. You Are Not Alone offers a place to live for kids who range from five months old to 16 years of age.
As you can imagine, the routine that she has to adhere to every day is quite grueling. “All the kids are not abandoned. Some are orphans, some have only one parent, some have both parents but they have been abandoned by those parents,” she shared on TikTok. Each day starts at 4 AM, as she prepares meals for all of the children in the house.
Juice boxes, hot dinners, sandwiches, she does it all. “I am the only one who cooks for the under 5 children and every child has his/her own morning chores,” she shared. While all of the older children are in bed by 7 PM, her day does not end there. Night shift is even harder, as this is when all of the babies need to be fed.
“I have to feed them and also change their diapers and I also have to prepare for work and the next day,” she explains. Our heart goes out to her and we cannot believe the level of effort that she puts into making sure that these children are okay. There are not many people out there who would do this.
We hope that karma rewards her for all that she has done. One of the kindest things that a person can do is help those who are unable to help themselves. These babies and children are receiving a second chance in life, thanks to her boundless levels of thoughtfulness.
Hopefully, Tusayiwe is blessed in abundance but we know that this is not what she does it for. After all, good deeds always serve as their own reward!
